Robert Poulin

Robert (Bob) V. Poulin, 87, of Berlin passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center where he had been a resident since 2007.

Born in Berlin, NH on February 11, 1925, the son of Edmond and Marie Anne (Robert) Poulin.

Bob was a truck driver for many years having worked for Lavigne's Red Wing Express; Adley's, and Yellow Freight.

He was married to Rita Allen Poulin for 59 years, she predeceased him in 2003. After retiring from Yellow Freight, he moved to Port Orange, FL where he lived for 24 years before returning to Berlin in 2005.

He is survived by a daughter Sue Saucier and her husband Don of Jefferson, two sons: Bobby and his wife Suzanne of Chicopee, MA and Raymond of Lancaster. Three granddaughters: Tammy Failing, Michelle Kinsella, and Cathy Register and three grandsons: Scott Chamberlin, Shayne Poulin, and Chris Saucier; and ten Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Paul Poulin of Gorham and his sister Loretta Gregoire of Littleton.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, three brothers: Normand, Laurier, and Joe Poulin and his sister Alvine (Leclerc) Maynard and Rita (Carrier) Bijeau.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Friday June 22, 2012 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will follow in St. Kieran Cemetery in Berlin.

Calling hours will be held prior to the Mass from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH., using the School Street entrance.
