Robert N. Poulin, 70, of Gorham, NH, passed away on Monday June 22, 2015 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Berlin on December 9, 1944 the son of William and Elizabeth (Shorty) Poulin and was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Notre Dame High School with the Class of 1963 and had served in the National Guard. He was a machinist at Cross Machine Shop and had worked at the Berlin Foundry and Isaacson Structural Steel. Robert was a member of Holy Family Church, a former member of Guardian Angel Parish and was a man of many talents. He enjoyed working on cars, especially with his son and his grandson Nathan. He was a good handy man, electrician, welder and fabricator and had a love for gardening. His devotion to his family was never ending! Family includes his wife of 51 years Colette (Bellavance) Poulin of Gorham, NH; daughters Carol Delisle and husband Maurice of Concord, NH and Paula Huot and husband Richard of Berlin, NH; son Bobby Poulin and fiance Penny Fontaine of Gorham, NH: 9 grandchildren Brad, Carl, Nathan, Allyson, Chantal Holly, Cassandra, Hannah and Cameron; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers Normand Poulin of Berlin, NH, Alfred Poulin of Wesley Chapel, FL and Lawrence Roberge of Berlin, NH; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Pauline Albert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 25, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation.
