Robert L. Carter

Robert L. Carter, 71, of Berlin passed away at his home on Saturday April 22, 2017. Mr. Carter was born in Ipswich, MA on February 3, 1946, the son of William F. and G. Irene Bowman. Bob graduated from Gloucester High School, Class of 1964 and served with the U.S. Army. He went on to graduate from Newbury Junior College. He worked for Sears for 20 years before starting Moonlite Limo, which he and his wife Sue ran for 11 years. After retiring they moved to Berlin in 2003. Members of the family include, a daughter Sandra Carter of North Carolina, a son Thomas Carter of NH and 5 grandchildren: Celina, Brittney, John, Jaydon and Baylan; a brother Donald Carter of S. Hamilton, MA and a dear friend Rachel Cross of W. Stewartstown. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years Susan A. (Morrison) Carter on November 16, 2015. Robert and Susan were laid to rest together at a private service on May 11, 2017 in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Gloucester, MA Donations may be made in his memory to MakeAWish New Hampshire, 814 Elm St., Suite 300, Manchester, NH 03101.
