Robert L. Beland

Mr. Robert L. Beland, 66, of Berlin passed away suddenly on Tuesday April 5, 2011 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH. He was born in Berlin, NH on April 10, 1944 the son of Frederick and Beatrice (Crotto) Beland and lived most of his life in Berlin. He had been employed at Attitash Resort. He enjoyed fishing. Members of the family include 4 brothers Benjamin Beland of Berlin, William Beland of Connecticut, Raymond Beland of Milan, NH and Florida and George Beland of Bristol, CT; 2 sisters Marie Plant of Taylorsville, NC and Florence Valentine of Bristol, CT; many nieces, nephews and cousins; an aunt Marion Crotto of Berlin; his stepdaughter Delanie Passalaqua of Berlin, NH; a close friend Tracy Couture. There will be no services. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Milan, later in the spring. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Home.
