Robert Francis Pike, 85, of Berlin passed away on October 20, 2018. He was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Piper) Pike. He was born in Cascade on June 29, 1933, the son of the late William and Margaret (Conley) Pike. Robert was a graduate of Gorham High School, and earned an Associates Degree in Industrial Electrical Technology from NH Vocational Technical School. He worked for the Brown Company for 44 years, retiring under the James River Corp. Robert was a member of the American Legion. He loved his family, and greatly enjoyed being a father and grandfather. He was an avid Red Sox fan, and also enjoyed woodworking, apple and berry picking, and fishing. Members of the family include his children: Kathy Godin and her husband Paul of Berlin, Jeff Pike of Berlin, Karl Pike and his wife Debbie of Columbia, Billy Pike and his wife Maureen of Berlin, and Robert Pike of Berlin; his grandchildren: Eric Godin, Curtis Godin, Brett Pike, and Jake Drouin; and his sister-in-law Doreen Sepe of Millbrook, NH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Jane Pike, his parents William and Margaret Pike, and his siblings: Patrick Pike, Lucille Laperle, Mary Sgrulloni, Harry Pike, William Pike, Ralph Pike, Agnes Shepherd, Edna Dunham, and Walter Pike. A Funeral Service will be held at the Bryant Funeral Home on Thursday, October 25th at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin and Gorham, NH.
