Robert Cyr

Robert Cyr, 89, formerly of Main St., Gorham, NH passed away on Thursday March 20, 2014 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center in Berlin. He was born in Robertsonville, PQ, Canada on July 18, 1924 the son of Odule and Marie-Louise (Fillion) Cyr and resided most of his life in the United States. He was a woodsman and was a member of Holy Family Church. Robert was kind man and was very good to his family. Family includes his sisters Madeleine Belval of Plantation, FL and Claire Cyr of Montreal, PQ, Canada; nieces, nephews and cousins residing in Canada. He was predeceased by sisters Rose Gobeil and Jeanne Sorel, a brother Gerard Cyr and his longtime companion Pauline Beaudoin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 28, 2014 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church. Interment will be in the Mt. Hayes Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
