Rita Pike

Rita Pike, 86, of Berlin passed away on Tuesday September 20, 2016 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. Mrs. Pike was born in Berlin on August 28, 1930 the daughter of Albert and Mabel (Dumesnil) Morin and was a lifelong resident of the area. She loved spending time with her family and friends at home and camp. Rita was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and had been employed in the family business, Berlin Furniture Mart. She was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. The family would like to thank The Northwood Home Health and Hospice Services and the Androscoggin Valley Hospital for their care and compassion that they provided to Rita. She is survived by; a son David Pike and wife Wanda of Berlin, daughters Debbie Ouellette and husband Larry of Berlin and Lynne Langley of Portsmouth; grandchildren Allan and wife Lisa, Staci, Craig and JoHannah Stuart and husband Mike; great-grandchildren Cody and Kyle and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband William Pike Jr. in 2014. A Memorial Service will be held at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave, Berlin on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in the Mt Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Everyone who remembers her is asked to celebrate her life in their own way. In lieu of flowers, the family would hope that you will do an unexpected act of kindness for someone in her honor.
