Rita P. Blair

Rita P. Blair, 87, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday October 19, 2019 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon after a courageous two year battle with cancer. She was born in Berlin on August 9, 1932 the daughter of the late Leon and Lillian (Pelchat) Dumoulin and grew up at her family’s dairy farm on Cates Hill. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and her faith was a very important part of her life. Rita enjoyed long drives in the car, especially during fall foliage. She enjoyed picnics, especially the past few years at Dolly Copp, puzzles, reading, playing scrabble with her daughter Nancy, occasional trips to the casino but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a very caring person, always putting others before herself.



Family includes her husband of 69 years, Victor Blair of Berlin, NH; her children Donald Blair and wife Jacqueline of Whitefield, NH; Shirley Gagne and husband Steve of Penacook, NH; Nancy Neil and husband Bruce of Gorham, NH and Susan Perry and husband Roger of Berwick, ME; grandchildren Craig, Carla, Eric, Brian, Joshua, Jordan, Carl and Justin; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by all of her siblings.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 1:00pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish with interment to follow in the Mt Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Wednesday from 10:30am – 12:30pm, prior to the service.
