Rita Guay

Rita Guay, 87, of Gorham, NH passed away on Monday July 1, 2013 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born in Berlin on May 7, 1926 the daughter of the late Willie and Marie (Drouin) Bariault and was a lifelong resident of the Berlin-Gorham area. She had been employed by St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home and Granite State Rubber Co. and was a member of Holy Family Church. Rita loved to knit, crochet, cook and loved her family. She was a great mother and a loving grandmother. Her family includes her children Robert Guay and wife Ruthanne of Arizona, Richard Guay and wife Carol of Gorham, Raymond Guay and wife Terri of Gorham and Rene Guay and wife Carol of Gorham; daughter Henriette Guay and husband Skip of Sommersworth, NH; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Henry J. Guay in 1976, a brother Roger Jacques and a sister Rachel Blouin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 PM.
