Richard R. Chasse

Richard R. Chasse, 70, of Berlin, passed away on Monday April 6, 2015 at the Coos County Nursing Home. He was born in Hartford, CT on May 3, 1944 the son of the late Arthur and Cecile (Maltez) Chasse and was raised and educated in Berlin. He was self-employed for many years as the owner of Dick Chasse Vinyl Siding. Richard loved fishing, camping and the outdoors and was a member of the Androscoggin Valley Fish & Game Club for many years. Most importantly, he loved his children and grandchildren. Family members include his daughters Tina Roy of Berlin, NH and Shan Lavoie of Claremont, NH; sons Richard Chasse of Merrimack, NH and Christopher Chasse of Berlin, NH; 10 grandchildren Shalynn, Ashleigh And Courtney Roy of Berlin, Jennifer Desmarais of Manchester, Kiera Lemmo of Hooksett, Sierra Jewett of Hooksett, Keegan , Nathaniel and Lukas Chasse of Manchester and Joshua Day of Bradenton, FL ; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters Irene Turbon of Janesville, WI, Anita Taylor of Goffstown, NH and Rita Minnon of Rochester, NH; brother Robert Chasse of Goffstown, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Jerry Chasse and a sister Doris Chasse. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday April 12, 2015 at 1 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 AM to 1 PM, prior to the service.
