Rena T. Gauvin

Rena T. Gauvin, 75, of Berlin, NH passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2013 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. She was born in Van Buren, ME on January 26, 1938 the daughter of the late Omer and Doris (Theriault) Levesque and lived most of her life in Berlin. She spent many years at her cottage at Umbagog Lake. Rena enjoyed working with the children at Umbagog Lake Water Ski Club and was known as Mother Umbagog. She also enjoyed snowmobiling. Members of the family include her daughters Victoria Laflamme and husband Michael of Dummer, NH, Robin Gauvin Hale and companion Kristin Wood of Stevenson, WA and Carole Jackson and husband Norman of Dummer, NH; grandchildren Jamie Nelson and husband Sam of Billings, MT and Devin Buckley of Berlin, NH; great-grandchildren Sydney, Ty, Avery and McKenna Nelson and Jackson Wood-Hale; sisters, Verna Duchesne and husband Richard of Berlin and Linda Nadeau of Berlin, a sister-in-law Lucille Young of Berlin, NH; her adopted family Christopher Chip Bean and wife Becky of Errol, NH and their family, Natalie Simmons and husband Kear of East Andover, ME, Krissie Bean of Colebrook, NH and Linsey Lea of Colebrook, NH. She was predeceased by her husband Rene M. Gauvin, a grandson Daniel Jolin and a brother Raymond Levesque. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
