Reginald F. Derosier

d. July 30, 2010

Mr. Reginald F. Derosier, 79, of 375 High Street, Berlin, NH died peacefully on Friday July 30, 2010 at his home, with his family by his side. He was born in Lancaster, NH on February 17, 1931 the son of Eldred and Elizabeth (Derosier) Lorry and was a lifelong resident. He served in the US Army and was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. He had been employed by the local paper mill for 43 years and retired from Crown Vantage in 1995. Regs greatest joy was his grandchildren, although only two live locally, the other nine faithfully wrote their Grumps letters to keep in touch with him. That is what my dads hobby was, just waiting everyday for the mail to come and immediately sitting down to write every single letter back. His fondest memories that he often spoke of was going with his best buddy Normand Richards to the camp for an annual fishing trip. He also loved going yard saling every weekend with his daughter Cathy. Members of the family include his wife Dorothy (McLain) Derosier of Berlin, NH; his children Nancy Fukasawa and husband Randy of MO, Cathy Derosier of Glen, NH, Stephen Derosier and wife Lisa of Milan, NH and Linda Parker and husband Sam of Muskegon, MI; 11 grandchildren; a sister Patricia Arneson of Lancaster, NH and a brother David Lorry of OR. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Barbara Leeman. A Private Family Service will be held at the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin. Interment with Full Military Honors will be in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. There will be no calling hours.
