Raymond L. Pinky Laflamme

Berlin, NH

Raymond L. "Pinky" Laflamme of Abenaki Lane died Monday, September 13, 2010 at his home following a long illness. He was 79.

Born on July 16, 1931 in Berlin, NH, he was the son of George and Georgia (Howard) Laflamme.

He was a graduate of Berlin High School.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War and received two Purple Hearts for his acts of Valor.

On June 13, 1953 he married Lorraine Pelchat.

He retired in 1990 from the James River Corp in Berlin where he worked as a boiler operator.

Pinky enjoyed playing tennis, bowling, horseshoes and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was a communicant of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish and was a life member of the Berlin VFW, a member of the American Legion and the Eagles Club.

His wife Lorraine passed away August 31, 1997 and he was also preceded in death by brothers: Richard (Sonny), Maurice (Bugger), Howell (Moosie), and Norman Laflamme and sisters Irene Savard and Florence Gauthier and her husband Frank.

He leaves: a son Paul Laflamme and his wife Carol of Berlin

Two daughters: Sis LaBonte and her husband Robert of Berlin and Lu Aube and her husband Sig of Spring Hill, FL

His companion Constance Thompson of Florida

A brother George (Sonny Bub) Laflamme, Jr and his wife Anne-Marie of Milan

Two sisters Jeannette Theriault and her husband Joseph and Doris Laflamme all of Berlin

Grandchildren Christopher LaBonte and his wife Kelly of Haverhill, Mass, Jason LaBonte of Northwood, NH, Todd Gendron and his wife Kara of Berlin, Tiffany Gendron of West Yarmouth, Mass, Kyle Laflamme of Berlin, Andrea Turner and her husband Todd of Wentworth Location, NH, Matthew Aube and his wife Stacy of Rochester, NH, and Angela Eafrati and her husband Jake of Boscowan, NH.

Great Grandchildren: Trinity, Kadence, and Adisson Gendron, Giada Eafrati, Desirae, Isaiah, and Samuel Aube.

Brothers and Sisters in Laws:

Elaine Laflamme, Cookie Laflamme, Doris Beaudoin, Doris Laflamme, Leo Savard, Clement & Doris Pelchat.

Several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Friday, Sept 17 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Interment with military honors will follow at the family plot at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Berlin.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm and 7-9pm Thursday, Sept 16 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home (School St Entrance), 72 High St, Berlin, NH.
