Raul Gonzalez

Raul Gonzalez, 84 of Lafayette St, Manchester, NH passed away surrounded by family on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Catholic Medical Center.

Born in Viesca Coahuila Mexico on October 9, 1930 he was the son of Maria de la Luz Gonzalez and Luis De Avila.

Raul married Elvira Ramirez on July 1, 1962 and together they raised five children.

He worked for the city of Manchester and retired in 1995.

Raul was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed boxing, baseball, listening to music, and he loved his Dunkin Donuts coffee.

Besides his parents he is predeceased by his siblings Soledad Martinez, Josefina Martinez, Alicia Martinez, Ramon Martinez, Felicitas Martinez and Ruben Gonzalez.

He leaves behind his loving wife Elvira; a son Raul of Manchester, NH; four daughters, Mayela Celone and husband Pasquale of Candia, NH; Isabel Stiasny and husband David of Auburn, NH; Consuelo Francoeur and husband Jason of Manchester, NH; and Norma Gonzalez of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren Rosamaria Celone, Pasquale Celone, Giovanni Celone, and Lily Gonzalez. Several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on the family on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, NH from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11:00am at St Anne-St Augustin Parish, 383 Beech Street, Manchester, NH 03103.
