Raoul J. Gagnon

Raoul J. Gagnon, 87, of Dummer, NH passed away on Tuesday January 26, 2016 at the Coos County Nursing Home. He was born in Berlin on September 27, 1928 the son of Euclide and Amelia (LaFrance) Gagnon and lived in Stark in the 1930s. He has resided in Dummer since 1941 and was a self-employed farmer, logger and landscaper. Raoul was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, enjoyed taking care of his lawns and contributed many hours to the Town of Dummer. Family includes his wife Louise G. (Wheeler) Gagnon of Dummer; sons James Gagnon and wife Nancy of Milan and William Gagnon and wife Debbie of Dummer; daughter Amelia Alton of Berlin; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Chaisson of Manchester, Clara Collins of Berlin and Theresa Holmes of Gorham; brother Richard Gagnon of Webster; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by siblings Juliette Dubrieul, Joseph Gagnon, Omer Gagnon and Margaret Gagnon. Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 29, 2016 at 2 PM at the Word of God Christian Church, Hill Rd., Dummer, NH. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Milan in the spring. There will be no calling hours. Donations in his memory may be made to the Word of God Christian Church, 11 Hill Rd., Dummer, NH, 03588. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
