Ralph E. Fournier

Ralph E. Fournier, 94, of Gorham, passed away on Monday January 27, 2020 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born in Berlin on March 27, 1925 the son of Alphonse and Ida (Demers) Fournier and lived in Canada from 5 to 20 years old, when he returned to Berlin. He had been employed by Libby’s Saw Mill before becoming an electrical technician at Brown Company and James River. Ralph was an active member of Holy Family Church and had served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the Union Local and owned and operated Ralph’s Radio and TV Repair for many years. He also enjoyed computers.



Family includes his children Richard Fournier and wife Cheryl of Manchester, NH, Raymond Fournier and wife Janice of Palm Harbor, FL and Pamela Anderson of Middleboro, MA; step-children Lynn Chevarie and husband Donald of Berlin, NH and Sheila Swaney and husband Ray of Denton, NH; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters Alice Roger and husband Paul of St. Agapit, PQ, Canada, Lucille Giroux and husband Fernand of St. Agapit, PQ, Canada and Jeannette Croteau and husband Wilfrod of St. Agapit, PQ, Canada; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife Rosalie (Dionne) Fournier in 1999, his second wife Marie (Simoneau)Fournier; brother Albert Fournier; and stepson James Andrews.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham on Thursday, January 30th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery at a later date.
