Priscilla Clark Mclain

Priscilla Clark McLain, 68 of Shelburne New Hampshire died on October 2, 2005 after a battle with cancer. Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario on March 8, 1937 a daughter of Allen and Ellen Clark of Chaput Hughes, Ontario. Priscilla married Richard McLain of Gorham, NH on August 27, 1955 and the two celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this August. After a 20 year Air Force career, the two settled in Chelmsford MA where they lived until they retired to Shelburne NH in 1991. Priscilla was a devoted mother who also enjoyed gardening, downhill skiing, the outdoors and was active in St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Berlin NH. Priscilla and Richard spent their summers in Shelburne NH and enjoyed traveling throughout the country in their RV camper visiting their children the rest of the year. Survivors include her devoted husband Richard and their 5 children, Marty of Springfield VA, George of Jacksonville N.C., Wendy Ciriello of Windham, NH, Dean of Helena MT and Curtis of Klamath Falls, OR and her 12 grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes may make donations to the American Cancer Society in her memory. The Bryant Funeral Home in Gorham, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
