Phyllis M. Hawkins

Mrs. Phyllis M. Hawkins, 74, formerly of Heavenly Acres, Milan, NH passed away on Monday January 21, 2008 at the Coos County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown, NH. She was born in Dummer, NH on November 26, 1933 the daughter of Owen R. and Lois E. (Young) Hawkins and was a lifelong resident of the area. She had been employed by the Yokohama Restaurant and had attended the Dummer Methodist Church. Members of the family include 1 son Robert Hawkins of Brookline, NH; 1 daughter Bethany MacDonald of Colebrook, NH; 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers Earl Hawkins of Milan, NH and Wayne Hawkins of Berlin, NH; 4 sisters Barbara Matthews of Hebron, NH, Muriel Littlehale of Wilsons Mills, ME, Thelma St. Onge of Berlin, NH and Ruth Testa of Milan, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Norace Hawkins, a son Thomas Hawkins, a sister Erma Enman and a brother Everett Hawkins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue in Berlin. Interment will be in the Willis Cemetery in Dummer, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
