Peter G. (Zie) Cyr

Peter G. (Zie) Cyr, 51, of Milan, NH, passed away on February 18, 2016 at his home. He was born in Edmundston, N.B., Canada on February 17, 1965 the son of Gerald B. and Doris (Michaud) Cyr and was raised in Madawaska, ME. He graduated from Madawaska High School and Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle, ME. Peter had worked in Nashua, NH at the Downtown Lincoln-Mercury and then began working at Berlin City Ford. He has resided in Milan for the past 27 years and loved turning wrenches on cars, bikes as well as anything that had a motor. Family includes his brother David Cyr and wife Bonnie of St. David, ME; nieces Dee Cyr of Madawaska, ME and Harley Cyr of Portsmouth, NH; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother Johnny Cyr and a sister Judy Cyr. Services will be private. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
