Pauline Shevlin

Mrs. Pauline Shevlin, 83, of Berlin, NH passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the St. Vincent dePaul Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born in Mexico, ME on November 21, 1926 the daughter of Joseph and Yvonne (Labbe) Arsenault and lived most of her life in Berlin. Prior to her retirement she was a stitcher at Converse Rubber Co. and Bass Shoe Co. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Berlin and was a member of St. Kieran Church now known as Good Shepherd Parish. Members of her family include her daughter Geraldine Dalphonse of Merrimack, NH; her sons Michael Shevlin of Portsmouth, NH, Roger Strout of Groveton, NH and T.R. Strout of Arizona; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister Germaine Cirka of Woonsocket, RI; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Warren Shevlin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning, January 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Pleasant Street in Berlin. Interment will be in the St. Anne Cemetery in Berlin at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside in Berlin on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
