Mrs. Pauline H. Dupuis, 81, formerly of 556 Lincoln Ave., Berlin, NH and a resident of the Coos County Nursing Home, passed away on Thursday April 2, 2009 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. She was born in Berlin on January 4, 1928 the daughter of Edmond J. and Hermane B. (Brulotte) Nadeau and was a lifelong resident. Prior to her retirement she had been employed by the US Forest Services as a Secretary/Receptionist, the Converse Rubber Co. for 15 years, by St. Louis Hospital and Newburys. She had also managed Rockys Pizza Shop, worked at Princes Corner Market and at Bernie and Daves for many years. She was a member of St. Anne Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, entertaining, fishing and camping. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Members of the family include 2 daughters Denise L. Dupuis of Berlin and Monique B. Gagnon and husband Roger of Berlin; 5 grandchildren Nicole Mayer and husband Randy, Scott Lamontagne and wife Amber, Benjamin Gagnon, Hannah Gagnon and Heather Gagnon; 3 great grandchildren Joshua Mayer, Emily Mayer and Madalynn Lamontagne; 3 sisters Rita Plante of Derby, VT, Lucille Stiles of Henniker, NH and Doris Lapointe and husband Donald of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter Claudette (Dupuis) Leach, a son in law Bruce Leach and a brother Henry Nadeau. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 7, 2009 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will in the St. Kieran Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the American Diabetes Foundation.
