Mrs. Pauline Caron, 80, of St. Petersburg, FL and Milan, NH, passed away on Thursday October 8, 2009 at St. Anthonys Hospital in St. Petersburg. She was born in Berlin, NH on August 17, 1929 and was the daughter of Emile and Fannie (Chenard) Fournier. She attended St. Patrick School until 1944 and graduated from Berlin High School in 1948. She had been employed in the office of Brookside Park and retired in 1993. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, served as ballot inspector, moderator and was a supervisor of the checklist for 33 years in Ward IV, volunteered for CAP give-away programs and the food pantry and was a member of St. Kieran Church, now Good Shepherd Parish. Members of the family include her husband of 60 years Robert O. Caron of St. Petersburg, FL and Milan, NH; sons Roland E. Caron and wife Janet of Berlin, NH and Leo Caron and wife Collette of Berlin, NH; grandchildren Carl Caron and wife Courtney of North Dakota, Jessica Caron of Vermont, Todd Caron and wife Kelly of Florida, Brett Caron and wife Tiffany of Connecticut and Meagan Caron of New Hampshire; great-grandchildren Jackson and Brayden; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Joseph, Ernest and Leo and a sister Flossie Croteau. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday October 12, 2009 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
