Pauline B Gagnon

Pauline Beatrice Gagnon passed away quietly at 12:05 AM on January 17, 2014, at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital, after an extended period of declining health. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final hours and as she drew her last breath. Born in Berlin, NH, on April 12, 1930 to the late Alfred J. Landry and Emelda A. (Demers) Landry, Mrs. Gagnon attended Guardian Angel School and Notre Dame High. Prior to retirement in 1991 she worked as a receptionist in the AVH emergency department. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and spending time with family. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman P. Gagnon in 2006. Mrs. Gagnon is survived by her sister, Doris Gauthier of Berlin and brother Ernest Landry and his wife Manny of AZ. In addition to several nieces and nephews, she leaves three daughters, Susan Dodge of Boston MA and Berlin NH, Diana Lamontagne of AZ, and Patricia Chase of Milan NH, as well as son-in-law Howard Chase. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, Jonathan, Timothy and Steven Baldassare , and Stacie Lamontagne. She recently welcomed her first great-grandchild, Owen Lawrence Baldassare. She also leaves her beloved Yorkshire Terrier and constant companion, Cassie. There are no calling hours and services are private.
