Paul R. Couture

Paul R. Couture, 65, of Berlin, NH passed away on August 26, 2016 at his home. He was born in Berlin, NH on July 1, 1951 the son of Maurice and Pierrette (Pinard) Couture and was a lifelong resident. Paul attended Berlin schools, graduating from Notre Dame High School with the class of 1969 and had also obtained an associate degree in drafting from the New Hampshire Vocational Technical College in Berlin. He was a US Air Force Veteran. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the local paper mill for many years. Paul was a member of the Ryan-Scammon Post #36 American Legion in Berlin. He enjoyed hiking and had climbed all of the four thousand footers in New England. He was an avid sports fan, where he enjoyed the Boston Bruins, the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Paul loved animals. Members of the family include his daughter Michelle Keller and her husband Jonathan of Weymouth, MA; his son Mark Couture and his wife Andrea of Northville, Michigan; five grandchildren William, Anna, Ella, Brady and Paxton; his parents Maurice and Pierrette Couture of Berlin; his former wife Helen Couture of Milan; his siblings Ron Couture of Berlin, Carol Agee of Maroa, Illinois, Denis Couture of Gorham and Deacon Mitch Couture of Berlin; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Louise Couture. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 2, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes may make a donation in his memory to and animal shelter of ones choice or to the Good Shepherd Parish Memorial Fund.
