Paul L. Morin

Paul L. Morin, 75, of 677 King Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Monday August 10, 2009. He was born in Berlin, NH on June 17, 1934 the son of Leo and Olivette (Chevarie) Morin and was a lifelong resident. He served in the US Marines. He was a police officer for the City of Berlin and retired as Chief of Police. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, a former member of the F.O.E., a member of the NRA and was a firearms instructor. He loved hunting and fishing. Members of the family include 2 daughters Sandra LeBlanc of Berlin, NH and Paula Kinney and husband Mark of Berlin, NH; 1 son Michael Morin and wife Lori of Gorham, NH: 5 grandchildren Hunter Morin, Troy Morin, Matthew LeBlanc, Cody LeBlanc and Alyssa Kinney; 1 sister Irene Gagnon of Tennessee; 2 brothers Omer Morin of Berlin, NH and Richard Morin of Berlin and Florida; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Catherine (Torro) Morin and a sister Doris Dutil. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 13, 2009 at 11 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM and Thursday morning from 10 to 11 AM, prior to the service. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
