Paul J. "Atty" Atwood

Paul J. Atty Atwood, 59, of Milan, passed away on September 11, 2017. He was born in Berlin on June 21, 1958 the son of the late John W. and Maureen (Landry) Atwood and was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1977 and had been employed for many years at the local paper mill as well as working in the woods. Atty was a member of the F.O. E., the Milan Trail Huggers, the Millsfield Sportsmens Club and had volunteered with Milan Fire Department. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, fishing, walking up and down the East River Road by the river and hunting. His presence will be fondly remembered and he will be sadly missed. Family includes his companion Sharon Bertholdt of Dummer; his four- legged baby Molly; his brothers Donald Atwood of Berlin and Mark Atwood of Berlin; his sister Tammy Laflamme and husband Peter of Berlin; his niece Sabrina Atwood of Gorham; aunts and uncles including Maurice and Janice Pelchat of Berlin; cousins and friends too numerous to list. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 21, 2017 at 12 Noon at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Private Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10 to 12, prior to the service.
