Paul Bernard Belanger of Norway Street passed away unexpectedly, Monday evening March 31, 2014 at his home. He was 48.

Born on July 16, 1965, he was the son of Andre and Jeannette Pauline (LeFebvre) Belanger.

Paul grew up in Berlin, NH and was a 1986 graduate of Gorham High School.

He was seasonally employed as a caretaker with the Berlin City Cemeteries and as a dishwasher at Guldie's Restaurant in Berlin.

Paul participated in Special Olympics for 40 years. He participated in swimming, running (Track & Mile), bocchi, bowling, standing long jump, golf, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, basketball & bicycling.

He enjoyed Montreal Canadians Hockey.

Besides his father Andre Belanger (Feb 6, 1980), he is pre-deceased by paternal grandparents John & Marie-Laure (Tremblay) Belanger; maternal grandparents Gerard A. & Lucille (Gilmore) LeFebvre.

He is survived by his loving mother Jeannette LeFebvre Belanger of Berlin, NH, A sister Lynda Belanger-Crete and husband Real of Ste. Hermenegilde, P.Q. Canada A brother Pierre Belanger of Concord, NH, nieces & nephews: Luc Crete and wife Jacynthe Dube, Eric Crete and companion Celine Sallenbach, , Melissa L'Esperance and husband Marc, Liza Crete, and Brett Belanger; Godparents Bernard Paquette and the late Pauline Belanger.

Five Great Nieces & Great Nephews and seven great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Twenty Four cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Rev. Kyle Stanton will officiate. Burial will follow at St Kieran's Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm Friday, April 4 and from 8:30am to 9:30am Saturday at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
