Patrick G. Forestall, 62, of 25 Twelfth St., Berlin, NH passed away on Friday May 11, 2012 at his home with his loving family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Berlin on September 23, 1949 the son of Raymond G. and Elizabeth (Kluchnick) Forestall and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Berlin High School, the NH Vocational Technical College and was a longtime iron worker, most recently had been employed by CCB, Inc. for 24 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, a former member of St. Kieran Church, a member of the Iron Workers Union and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Berlin. Pat loved to fish, enjoyed hunting, playing cards, spending time with his cherished family and friends, backyard gatherings, his work, sports and was an avid Yankees fan. Members of the family include his wife Elizabeth (York) Forestall of Berlin; daughters Kelly Rigg of Berlin and Kimberly Forestall of North Conway; granddaughter Demri Rigg of Berlin; mother Elizabeth Forestall of Berlin; sisters Carolyn St. Hilaire of Nashua, NH, Sharon Bott of Henderson NV and Gail Doyon of Nashua, NH; brother Timothy Forestall of Berlin; uncles including Robert Litvin of Berlin, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 15, 2012 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish at 11 AM. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a local food pantry or a local charity of ones choice.
