Mr. Patrick A. Chaloux, 84, of 217 Wight Street in Berlin, passed away on Sunday May 29, 2005 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Berlin on April 26, 1921 the son of Mederic and Nellie (Rouleau) Chaloux and was a lifelong resident. Prior to his retirement in 1993, he was employed by Brown Company, James River and Crown Vantage. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Kieran Church now known as Good Shepherd Parish, he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of the Royalty Athletic Club. Members of his family include his wife Lucille (Hayes) Chaloux of Berlin; three sons Michael Chaloux and his friend Lucy of Gorham, Glenn Chaloux and his wife Donna of Tallahasse, FL and Patrick Chaloux of Berlin; three daughters Kathleen Valliere and her husband Zip of Berlin, Mary McGrail and her husband Michael of Newfields, NH and Teresa Alonzo and her friend Rob of Berlin; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother Norman Chaloux and his wife Millie of Berlin; one sister Theresa Rousseau of Bristol, CT; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was pre-deceased by a son James Chaloux. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated on Wednesday June 1, 2005 at 2:00 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery in Berlin with full Military Honors. Family and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home 180 Hillside Ave. in Berlin from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM on Tuesday May 31, 2005.
