Patricia Guay

Patricia H. Guay, 88, of Milan, NH, passed away on Sunday October 8, 2017 at her home. She was born in Berlin, NH on February 9, 1929 the daughter of the late Claude and Cora (Witter) Mountain and was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Gorham High School and the NH Vocational Technical College with an Associate Degree in Business and was the owner of David Lee Mountain Art Studio. Pat had been a member of St. Kieran Church, past President of the Rotary Club and of the VFW 2520 Ladies where she had gone through all of the chairs, had been the past President of the State and District Post and had been a Patriotic Instructor. She loved drawing, painting, dancing, roller skating, basketball and skiing as well as traveling with her husband, Ray, to Ireland, England and all corners of the USA. She could always be found at the David Lee Mountain Art Studio which she owned and operated after the passing of her brother, David. She continued to teach art classes and enjoyed having Yankee Candles in the store. Family includes her husband Raymond A. Guay of Milan, NH: her son Claude Lemelin and wife Barbara of Milan, NH; step children Barbara Martinez and husband Sergio and their daughters Jessica and Nicky and Joy Gould and husband Allen and their children Elizabeth and Jimmy; grandchildren Hilary Lemelin and Keith L. Lemelin; great grandchildren Cavin and Hadley Lemelin; brothers Chester Barnes of Nottingham, NH and William Mountain of FL; niece Kathy and husband Mike Olrich; nephew George Skip Toussaint and wife. She was predeceased by her brother David Lee Mountain, sister Beverly Toussaint and niece Debra Toussaint . Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 14, 2017 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Milan. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM.
