Panagiotis Giannos

It is with great sadness that the family of Panagiotis Giannos announces his passing on January 20, 2021 at the age of 68.



Panagiotis "Pete" Giannos was born in Variades, a small village in Greece . His wife of 49 years, Vasiliki "Vicky" Giannos was from the same village. In essence they spent their life together; knowing each other since childhood. Vicky emigrated to America in 1970 only to return to the village to marry Pete in 1971. Together they settled in the Boston area and had six children.



After working many years in Boston area factories Pete learned the pizza business. Together with his wife and eventually his kids they owned and operated Medway House of Pizza, in Medway, MA. After moving with his family to Berlin NH; he owned and operated Supreme Pizza for 23 years. Pete was always a family man- his family was everything and everything he did was for them. Pete loved gardening and was an expert in ancient Greek History. He loved his homeland and always loved to go back and visit.



Pete is survived by his wife of 49 years Vicky. His four children and their significant others; Greg (Karen), Kosta, Chris (Stephanie), and Roula (Manny). Four grandchildren Dimitri Giannos, Panayiotis Giannos, Alexa Giannos and Maria Katsetos . Two brothers, Spiros Yiannos and Kosmas Yiannos; and one sister Panayiota Kennos and countless nieces and nephews. Pete was predeceased by his twin daughters Panagiota and Vasiliki Giannos, his parents Greg and Vasiliki Giannos, and his two brothers Peliopida Giannos and Dimitri Giannos.



Pete was an active member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Berlin, NH. He enjoyed helping with the various church fundraisers and loved his church community. Donations in Pete's memory may be made to Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, 20 Petrograd St., Berlin, NH 03570.



A walk-through visitation will be held on Monday, January 25 from 11am-12pm at the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Petrograd Street, Berlin. A Funeral Service will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin and Gorham, NH. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.bryantfuneralhome.net
