Oreste Orry Sinibaldi

Oreste P. Sinibaldi, 92, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Facility in Berlin, NH. He was born in Berlin, New Hampshire the son of Pasqauale & Antoinette (Deprospero) on February 18, 1918. He started a business called Orry's Place in the early 1940's on the east side of Berlin and worked briefly at the Brown Company before starting Orry's Market on Exchange Street and Main Street in Gorham where he and his wife Margaret worked until their retirement in the 1980's.

He was a veteran of the Army from World II stationed in the South Pacific and Australia where he met his wife Margaret.

He enjoyed his family and woodworking.

He is survived by two sons Dennis Sinibaldi and wife Lillian of Litchfield, NH, Gary Sinibaldi and wife Gail of Gorham, NH, a daughter Cheryl Lafferty and husband Ron of Litchfield Park, AZ, two grandchildren Kerri Pike and husband Christopher of Berwick, ME, Ryan Lafferty and wife Sandy of Dunbarton, NH, three great grandchildren Andrew Pike of Berwick, ME, Marissa and Adam Lafferty of Dunbarton, NH. He is also survived by one sister Sister M Antoinette Sinibaldi of The Sisters of Mercy in Windham NH, four sister-in-laws, Doris Sinibaldi of Hudson, Florida, Patricia Sinibaldi of Gorham, NH, Beryl Hanran of Townsville, Australia and Beverly Mullins of Chancellor Park, Australia and a brother-in-law Neville Farquhar of Townsville, Australia and many nieces and nephews from the US and Australia.

He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years on February 5th, 2010 and seven brothers Humberto, Mario, Ettre (Ted), Edward, Henry, Joseph and Remo Sinibaldi and two sisters Helen Gemmiti and Pearl Sinibaldi.

Calling hours will be held at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home on Exchange Street in Gorham, NH on November 29, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm.

As Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Holy Family Church, Father Daniel Sinibaldi Officating.

Internment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to Holy Family Parish .
