Norman R. Berube

Norman R. Berube, 87, of Berlin, passed away Saturday June 11, 2016. Mr. Berube was born in Cascade Gorham, NH on July 27, 1928, a son of Joseph and Anna (Gouin) Berube and was a lifelong resident of the area. He served in the US Air Force and worked for many years at Brown Company and James River, retiring in 1990. He was a very talented craftsman and enjoyed building and beautifying their many homes. Norman was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish and was a life member of the VFW Post 2520 in Berlin. Family includes two sons; Randall Berube and companion Laurie Legere of Berlin and Scott Berube and his wife Karen of Berlin; grandchildren Angela, Cameron, Emily and Tessa; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Priscilla (Couture) Berube,brothers, George Berube, Rene Berube, Oliver Berube, Lionel Berube and Andrew Berube and sisters Simonne and Teresa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 15, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment with military honors will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Tuesday evening from 6-9 PM.
