Norman Bergeron

Norman J. Bergeron of Berlin passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Coos County Nursing Home. He was 89 years old.



Norman was born in Berlin, on February 21, 1928; he was the son of the late Silva and Maria (Fissette) Bergeron.



He attended school in Berlin and married Marguerite R. Boulanger and they raised 2 sons and 4 daughters. Prior to retiring in 1990 he was employed as a mechanic for the City of Berlin.



He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His greatest love was his family; he was a very loving, caring and devoted, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed polka music and tinkering around with woodworking. His favorite past time was helping others and spending time with family and friends.



He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marguerite (Boulanger); a son Paul and brothers Roger and Gilbert "Bobby" Bergeron and his sister Claire McKay.



He is survived by a son David Bergeron and wife Joanne of Lewiston, ME, four daughters, Sandra Cere and husband Bill of W. Milan, NH, Susan Warren of Berlin, NH, Rachel Fredette and husband Richard of Merrimack, NH, Anne Brown and husband Charlie of South Barre, VT. He also leaves seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.



Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday, February 15th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Friday February 16th from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish on Friday, February 16th at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
