Mr. Noel A. Buck Ducharme, 84, of 679 Cheshire Street in Berlin, NH passed away at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin on Thursday morning, September 7, 2006. He was born in Somersworth, NH on December 25, 1921 the son of Eli and Alma (Lasond) Ducharme and lived most of his life in Berlin. Mr. Ducharme served his nation in the US Navy during WW II aboard the USS Humbolt. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Brown Company and James River as a Mill Wright. He was a member of Guardian Angel Church now known as Good Shepherd Parish, the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW and was a former member of the Ryan-Scammon Post #36 of the American Legion. Members of his family include his wife of 58 years Therese (Cadorette) Ducharme of Berlin; one son Donald Ducharme and his companion Debbie of Hampton, NH; one daughter Mrs. Suzanne LHeureux and her husband Paul of Berlin, NH; four grandchildren Mrs. Donna Piet, Dana Ducharme, Rebecca LHeureux and Ryan LHeureux; two great grandchildren Amelia Piet and Hayden Piet; two sisters Mrs. Florence Gagnon and her husband Paul of Manchester, NH and Mrs. Anna Merrill of Hudson, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Ducharme was predeceased by his parents, his brother Wilfred Ducharme and a sister Bertha Thibeault. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue in Berlin on Friday, September 8, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Michael Catholic School in his memory.
