Michael J. Lavoie

Mr. Michael J. Lavoie, 49, of 3 Wentworth Avenue, Gorham, NH passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2009 at his home. He was born in Berlin, NH on February 12, 1960 the son of John E. and Linda J. (Bissett) Lavoie. He had lived in Milford, MA for 11 years then moved back to Gorham after the death of his parents. He later lived in the Western United States and returned home to Berlin in 1989. He loved his canine companion, Boogee. He loved German Shepherd dogs and loved to train dogs. He also enjoyed hiking, swimming and the outdoors. Members of the family include 1 sister Lisa Montminy and husband Paul of Gorham, NH; 1 brother Stephen Lavoie of Intervale, NH; 2 nieces Linda Montminy and Ella Montminy of Gorham, NH; 1 aunt Jeannie Hale of Wyoming; cousins. He was predeceased by his parents John and Linda (Bissett) Lavoie. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2009 at 3 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 3 PM, prior to the service. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to an animal shelter of their choice in his memory.
