Mary Jane Fiske

Mrs. Mary Jane Fiske, 73, formerly of Gorham, NH, passed away on Monday March 20, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Lebanon, NH on February 11, 1933 the daughter of Edward and Edna S.(Fraser) Cheney. She had been employed by New England Telephone from 1951-1961 as an telephone operator. She was a member of the Gorham Congregational Church, UCC in Gorham, NH, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Gorham and a member of the Presidential Range Riders where she served as Treasurer for several years. Members of the family include her son Timothy M. Fiske of Gorham, NH; her daughter Gail S. Paradis and her husband Keith of Gorham, NH; a granddaughter Jessica Lynn Clark of Gorham, NH; a sister Barbara Cusson of Chicopee, MA; a brother-in-law Donald Fiske of Berlin, NH; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Malcolm Fiske on February 23, 1992 and her brothers William and Henry Cheney. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 23, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade Street, Gorham, NH. Interment will be in the Mount Hayes Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
