Mary D. Gallant

Mary D. Gallant, 93, formerly of 132 Emery St., Berlin, passed away on Tuesday January 1, 2013 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Healthcare Center in Berlin. She was born in Berlin on September 3, 1919 the daughter of John J. and Margaret (Marshall) Donaldson and lived most of her life in Berlin. She had been employed by Granite State Rubber Company, was a former member of the St. Kieran Altar Guild and was a member of St. Kieran Church, now Good Shepherd Parish. Members of the family include her son Bernard Gallant and wife Sue of Berlin; grandchildren Wendy A. Gallant of AZ, Scott L. Gallant of Berlin, NH and Stacy E. Gallant of New Orleans, LA; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence S. Gallant in 1990, 4 brothers, Reginald, Robert, Thomas and Bernard Donaldson, 4 sisters, Ruth McMennamin, Kay Stevens, Dorothy Forsythe and Margaret Lozier. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 5 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Activity Fund, 29 Providence Ave, Berlin, NH 03570.
