Marion M. Parker

Miss Marion M. Parker, 90, formerly of 15 Potter Street, Gorham, NH passed away on Tuesday August 22, 2006 at Falmouth By The Sea in Falmouth, Maine. She was born in Jefferson, NH on November 27, 1915 the daughter of Edward D. and Maude (Ingerson) Parker and had lived in Gorham for most of her life. Marion was a 1933 High School Graduate, and had been employed as a store clerk for Dimicks Pharmacy, Richs Dept. Store and Wal-Mart and had also worked for the Chamber of Commerce. Members of the family include Nephews Arnold Parker of Gilford, NH and Richard Stone and his wife Shirley of Nashua, NH; a Niece Joyce L. Stone of Nashua, NH; Great Nieces Cathy Norton and her husband Thomas of Portland, ME, Paula Soucy of Taunton, MA, Mary Paola and her husband Steve Slingerland of Dover, NH; several Great Great Nieces and Great Great Nephews; and several close friends. SERVICES: A funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon Aug. 26, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Gorham Congregational Church, UCC in Gorham, NH, with Rev. Kent E. Schneider officiating. Interment will follow at the Starr King Cemetery in Jefferson, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade Street, Gorham, NH on Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to a charity of ones choice in her memory.
