Marion Crotto

Marion (Rowe) Crotto, 84, formerly of Potter Street in Gorham, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on August 4, 2012 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Center, where she had been a resident for 3 years. Marion was born on February 16, 1928 to John and Ida Rowe in Rumford, Maine. She married the love of her life, Roydon Crotto, on March 22, 1947 and together they raised a daughter, Florence. Marion enjoyed reading and doing her daily crossword puzzles, as well as going to bingo, but her greatest joy was spending time with her only granddaughter, Kayla. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and loyal friend. She will be greatly missed. Marion is survived by her daughter Florence Fitzmorris and her husband Michael of Gorham, NH; her granddaughter Kayla Huesman and her husband, Jeremy of Brattleboro, VT; one brother John Rowe, Jr. of Bartlett, NH and one sister Darlene Janvrin of Gorham, NH. Her very close friends, Mary Ellen Lodar and Steve Lebeau of Gorham, NH also survive her. Her husband Roydon in 2008, as well as her parents, two sisters and two brothers predeceased her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 8, 2012 at 2PM at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham, NH on Tuesday evening from 7 9 PM.
