Mario J. Baldassare

Mario J. Baldassare, 91, of Berlin, NH passed away on Monday November 10, 2014 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He was born in Berlin, NH on January 8, 1923 the son of Dominic and Vincenza (Bifolchi) Baldassare and was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Mario had been employed by the Berlin Reporter, the Coos County Democrat and lastly for Smith & Town Printers. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW. Immediate family includes his wife Madeleine (Caron) Baldassare of Berlin, NH; daughter Helen Baldassare Norwick and her husband Ken Norwick of New York City, NY; sister Josephine Fontaine of Berlin, NH; grandsons Jonathan and his spouse Dena, Timothy and his spouse Tammy and Steve Baldassare; 1 great-grandson Owen Lawrence Baldassare; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Lawrence Baldassare in November of 2008. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday November 13, 2014 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
