Mrs. Marie Paule Dubord, 78, of 24 Cross Street, Gorham, NH passed away on Saturday February 18, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin after a long illness. She was born in Canada on January 8, 1928 the daughter of Albenie and Alice (Roy) Pepin. Mrs. Dubord grew up in Canada then moved to the area where she resided for 49 years and raised her family. She returned to Canada in 2001 where she lived for 4 years before returning to Gorham in August of 2005 to be near her children. She was a devoted Christian who loved her family. Mrs. Dubord loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, cooking, gardening and camping. Members of her family include her daughters Marcella Houle and her husband Paul of Berlin, NH and Diane Lapointe and her husband Mark of Berlin, NH; two sons Richard Dubord and his wife Karen of Choctaw, OK and Paul Dubord and his companion Brenda of Berlin, NH; eight grandchildren Elvis Houle, Jody Houle, Joseph Dubord, Ryan Dubord, Natalie Dubord, Jason Dubord, Desiree Corbeil and Travis Lapointe; 2 great-grandchildren; three brothers Jos-Marie Pepin, Herve Pepin and Aurel Pepin all of Canada; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Lionel Dubord and her parents. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held on Tuesday February 21, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue in Berlin, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Interment will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
