Marie Jeanne Alonzo

GORHAM, NH Marie Jeanne Alonzo, 89, passed away Wednesday evening, June 27, 2012, at her daughters home in Scottsdale, AZ. Mrs. Alonzo was born on February 22, 1923, in Waterville, P.Q. Canada, a daughter of Noel and Rosilda (DeSaint) Madeleine. Jeanne has been a resident of Gorham for many years. She worked at the Town & Country Motor Inn as a Waitress Supervisor and was also a member of Holy Family Church. She is survived by her three daughters, Deidra Rodgers of Gorham, Candice Alonzo of Berlin and Nadine Dalphonse and her husband Geoff of Scottsdale, AZ, two grandsons John Saunders and wife Linda of Levittown, PA and Guido A. Dalphonse and fiance Cheerish of Scottsdale, AZ, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Guido Alonzo in 2002. Calling hours will be held on Friday evening September 14, from 7-9 at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St, Gorham. Burial will be private. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to the Hospice of the Valley, 16117 North 76th St., Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bryant Funeral Home.
