Marie Dupuis

October 23, 1916 — November 25, 2014

Marie L. (Maurais) Dube Dupuis, a former resident of York Street passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was 98.

Born on October 23, 1916 in Coaticook, P.Q., she was the daughter of Edouard and Odilla (Jacques) Maurais. She moved to Berlin at an early age and attended Guardian Angel School.

For many years, she worked for the Converse Rubber Company as a stitcher.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as going out with her sisters.

She loved playing the organ, having a good time, playing games on her laptop, as well as doingWord Finds, and knitting.

Marie was a communicant of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin and also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and Link of the Living Rosary.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband Albert A. Dube, son Rene Dube, daughter Jeannette Isaacson, two sisters Irene Langlais and Blandine Maurais, two brothers Alphonse Maurais and Albert Maurais, and her second husband Emile Dupuis.

She leaves a daughter Claire Rainville and husband Maurice of Gorham, a son Richard Dube and wife Cleo of Berlin, thirteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

From her second marriage, she is survived by four stepsons: Roland Dupuis and wife Louise of Milan, Donald Dupuis and wife Claire of Nashua, Gaston Dupuis and wife Elaine of Nashua, Paul Dupuis and wife Claudette of Pittsfield, MA; a step daughter Louise Michaud and husband Leo of North Conway, 11 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.

Five sisters Jeanne Nadeau, Marguerite Coulombe and husband Lucien, Gilberte Roy, Florence Roy, and Theresa Godin and husband Romeo all of Berlin. Several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, December 1 ,2014 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
