Marie Anna Letarte

Marie Anna C (St. Onge) Letarte, 86, of Gorham, passed away on Friday December 5, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Marie Ann was born on June 2, 1928 in Le Patrie, Quebec. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Eugnie (Hamel) St. Onge. She came to the United States in 1951.

Her greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Laurier.

She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Laurier Letarte of Gorham, NH; daughters Elaine Morin of Berlin, NH and Diane Labbe and husband Rod of Dummer, NH; two grandchildren Joshua Labbe and wife Heather of Thomasville, GA and Jesse Labbe of Dummer, NH; two great-grandchildren Dakota and Faith Labbe of Thomasville, GA. She also leaves behind two brothers, Leonide and wife Theresa of Shebrooke and her twin brother, Norris of Groveton, NH; one sister Clemence Lachance of Montreal. Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers Arthur, Treffle, Adrien, Herve and Anatole; sisters Adrienne Senenaro and Aurelia Senay.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1:00pm at Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH. Burial took place on Tuesday, December 8, 2014 at Mt Calvary Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.
