Marguerite (Maurais) Coulombe

Marguerite (Maurais) Coulombe, a longtime resident of Spruce Street, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 15, 2018 in her home. She was 93 years old.



Born on August 9, 1924 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Edouard and Odilla (Jacques) Maurais.



Marguerite was a lifelong resident of Berlin. On June 16, 1947, she married Lucien Coulombe and together they raised four children. She was a communicant of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.



Spending time with her family brought her the greatest joy; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In their earlier years she and Lucien loved to go dancing and taking nice walks. In their later years they often would take long rides and go on picnics. Marguerite also enjoyed candlepin bowling and playing Bingo.



Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband Lucien who passed away in 2016; her brothers Alphonse and Albert Maurais; her sisters Marie Dupuis, Gilberte Roy, Irene Langlais and Blandine Maurais.



She leaves behind her sons, Paul Coulombe of Salem, NH, Robert Coulombe and wife Nina of Berlin, Donald Coulombe and partner Normand Voisine of Gorham, and daughter Lucie Coulombe of Berlin, three grandchildren: Louis Coulombe, Lisa Coulombe, and Sara Coulombe all of Berlin; three great-grandchildren Faith Ann Marshall, Alexandra Rose Coulombe, Noah Robert Coulombe, and Lydia Lucienne Coulombe; sisters Jeanne Nadeau, Florence Roy and Therese Godin; many nieces and nephews.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00pm Wednesday, April 18th at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Berlin.



Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 18th from 11:00am to 12:30pm (prior the Mass) at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
