Margaret E. (Ripley) Davenport

Mrs. Margaret E. (Ripley) Davenport, 87, of Berlin, NH passed away on Monday morning June 5, 2006 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center in Berlin. She was born in Lewiston, ME on Aug. 30, 1918 the daughter of Clyde and Lillian (Rich) Ripley and lived in Magalloway Plantation, ME before moving to Berlin in 1941. Mrs. Davenport was a graduate of Gould Academy with the class of 1937. Members of the family include four daughters Patricia Farnham of Vermont, Marjorie Margie Osborne of Norwich, CT, Virginia Ginny Blais of Berlin, NH and Althea Giguere of Milan, NH; two sons Paul Davenport of Berlin, NH and Steven Davenport of Nashua, NH; twenty grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one sister Kathleen Roberts of Norway, ME; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Elbert Davenport in 1974. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 7, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the New City Cemetery in Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening June 6 from 7 to 9 PM.
