Margaret B. Qualls

Margaret B. (LaForce) Qualls, 80, of Gorham, NH passed away on May 6, 2018 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on July 16, 1937 the daughter of Jerome and Helen (Roy) LaForce and has lived most of her life in the Berlin-Gorham area. Peggy had been employed as a waitress and caterer for many years. She was a member of Holy Family Church, the Dupont-Holmes Post American Legion Auxiliary, a life member of the Special Forces Association and she dedicated her life in supporting the Special Forces Operation in the North Country. Members of the family include her sons Hoopy Qualls and his wife Sissy of Gorham, NH, John Scott Qualls and fiance Mia Roberge of Berlin, NH and Bud White of Gorham, NH; 3 grandchildren Jennifer, Heather and Heidi; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Esther Gilbert and Ramona Olmstead and her husband Keith, both of Gorham; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Steven Qualls and by 2 sisters Lois Lavertue and Geraldine Parks. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 1 PM at Holy Family Church, Gorham. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade Street, Gorham, NH on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
