Lucille L. Lavoie

Lucille L. (Roy) Lavoie, 85, of Berlin, NH, passed away on Monday June 6th, 2022 at her home. She was born on March 10, 1937, the daughter of George Roy and Azilda (Marquis) Roy. She was a lifelong resident of Berlin and a 1956 graduate of Notre Dame High School, later marrying her loving husband (Joseph) Donald Lavoie with whom she raised two children, Keith and Laurie.



Lucille worked at the Cascade Towel Room, Converse Rubber Co., and was a friendly crossing guard for 16 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, M.E.S.H. and a volunteer at the St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts.



Lucille and Donald enjoyed camping and making music together and with their son Keith. They spent good retirement years in Florida.



Family includes her daughter, Laurie of Florida, Granddaughter Gabrielle and Grandson Daniel both of Indiana, sisters Anita Farrington and husband Richard, Lorraine Rydin, and Georgette McCosh all of Berlin, NH, and Simone Lariviere of Gorham, NH; several nieces and nephews.

Lucille was predeceased by her husband Donald, her son Keith, and two sisters Theresa (Roy) Lambert and Doris (Roy) Payette.



Calling hours will be Monday June 13th, 2022, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. with a service of remembrance immediately following at the Bryant & Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH. Lucille’s final resting place will be at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH with her husband and son.



In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Androscoggin Valley Home Care Services, 795 Main St., Berlin, NH 03570 and/or to North Country Angels, LLC, 20 Bret St., Berlin, NH 03570. The family is most grateful to both services for the loving care and support they provided to Lucille during her final days at home. We also thank David and B. Edward Bryant for their care and support.
