Lucille D. Addario

Lucille D. Addario, 91, of Gorham, NH passed away on Sunday February 10, 2013 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She was born in Berlin on September 5, 1921 the daughter of Aime and Yvonne (Robichaud) Devost and was a lifelong resident. She stopped school at age 12 when her mother passed away so she could take care of her sister, Rita, and her brother, Roland. Lucille was a homemaker living in Gorham, NH with her husband and family. She was a devoted wife of Armand and a mother of 3 children. She enjoyed summers at Camp Ellis at Old Orchard Beach, ME, playing cards, sewing and cooking. She always enjoyed people and welcomed everyone into her home with good conversation and good food. Members of the family include her children Janet Hansen and husband John of Tenants Harbor, ME, Richard Addario and wife June of Gorham, NH and Steve Addario of Cape Elizabeth, ME; 5 grandchildren Tammi Lin Kirchoff and husband Paul, Erika Shields and husband Linwood, Angela McDonough and husband George, Christopher Addario and wife Missy and Tony Addario; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Roland Devost of Rochester, NH; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Armand on March 23, 2009 and a sister, Rita. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 16, 2013 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to AV Home Care, 795 Main St., Berlin, NH, 03570. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to AV Home Care for her care and support in her home, to her treating providers and to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Critical Care staff who provided her care in her last days.
